2025. I’ve been building websites for over 25 years! I’m an optimistic type, yet I can’t help but feel uninspired in the popular direction of our field in this moment. Pages build as expected but not tags. Help!

Web components solve a lot of problems for me. I'm always excited to learn more and see what problems they solve for others. Plus @scottjehl.com is a great teacher.

I had an experience in the early days of Twitter I'm reminded of. I asked a question and someone was kind enough to respond.

It helped a lot—but the generosity from a random person is what I remember.

Losing that part of Twitter was disappointing and maybe what I'm responding to here.
