I am not entirely sure. I know he wrote almost exclusively with a fountain pen, but I could see him having a ballpoint pen for when he was out. He had a stationary store in Germany very much focussed on high end quality. So these pens might even be older.

Hello Fountain pen people. These are my grandfathers fountain pens. Picture was taken in 1975. Which ones could he have there. especially the left one looks like it might be recognizable.

At Penfest in Germany this couple stole several high value collectors fountain pens. The reel shows the incident.
Probably unlikely someone recognizes them but probably worth looking out for the stolen pieces on collectors sites.
