Bodily autonomy doesn’t exist if your reproductive health care data is being shared without your consent! The fight for #dataprivacy is a vital component in the fight for reproductive freedom.

This is why NIRH is working to advance local legislation to protect health data and curb surveillance 💪

FDA quietly approved a generic abortion pill ahead of shutdown The approval of a generic for the medication mifepristone comes less than two weeks after Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pledged that the agency would review the drug’s safety.

ICYMI: The FDA approved a second, generic version of mifepristone last week.

Today is World Contraception Day!

Equitable access, to the type of contraception that’s right for you, is a CORNERSTONE of reproductive freedom — and a necessary part of people & families being able to shape their own futures.

We are thrilled to announce that the Massachusetts Senate PASSED a strong data privacy protection bill this afternoon!

Even better — This bill includes core provisions of the Location Shield Act which prohibits the sale of sensitive location data from YOUR cellphone.

Reproductive justice is about creating conditions where people & families can make decisions about their bodies free from violence or fear.

This includes being able to raise our children in SAFE environments — free from gun violence.

When we come together to fight for reproductive equity — we're fighting for a future where EVERYONE can make health care decisions without political interference.

Regardless of your zip code, income, immigration status or background.

A common misconception about reproductive health care is that it primarily focuses on abortion — and while abortion care is critical, repro health care is about so much more.

That’s why it’s so important that we fight for our reproductive freedoms — especially amid this hostile federal landscape.

Today is World Sexual Health Day! Sexual & repro justice are DEEPLY interconnected. They both demand:

❤️ The right to make decisions about our bodies without fear or coercion.

💛 Access to the full spectrum of sexual and repro health care.

🧡 Freedom from systemic barriers to care and harm.

In reality, “fetal viability” is a political and ideological construct that was coined by a Supreme Court Justice, and many leading medical institutions are opposed to the term’s use.

Our laws should trust providers and patients — not politicians — to make informed health care decisions. [2/2]

The concept of "fetal viability" didn't come from doctors or science, yet it’s still being used to arbitrarily justify when the government can intervene in pregnancies across the country... [1/2]
