Watching now -- "Devo" (2024). Yeah, I'm finally watching the Devo documentary. I still don't have Netflix, but I found a way to watch it anyway. Calm down sticklers, I'm sure I'll buy it on a physical format once it's released as such...

Watching now -- "Rock & Roll's Greatest Failure: Otway the Movie" (2013). Documentary about eccentric English rocker John Otway. I've been wanting to see this for awhile...

Watching now -- "Doctor Detroit" (1983). I felt like watching a stupid 80's comedy, so here we are...

Watching now -- "Deathdream" aka "Dead of Night" (1974). One of my all-time favorite horror flicks going back to when I rented the VHS from Video Visions in the late-90's. Genuinely eerie, with a spooky score from Carl Zittrer and it's Tom Savini's first professional special makeup effects job.

Watching now -- "El Aullido del Diablo" / "The Howl of the Devil" (1987). I've seen lots of Paul Naschy's films from the 70's, but this is my first time checking out his 80"s work. And, hey look, Caroline Munro is in it! Plus, Jess Franco regular Howard Vernon!

...some sort of "historical" period piece which gets kind of samey after awhile. Plus, it's has the lovely Caroline Munro in thigh-high leather boots dancing at a groovy party!

Watching now -- "Dracula A.D. 1972" (1972). "The Count is back with an eye for London's hotpants... and a taste for everything!." I really dig this one as I am a fan of Dracula/vampire movies from this time period that take place in the era they were released instead of (continued in comments)...

Watching now -- "From Beyond the Grave" (1974). One of those horror anthologies from Amicus Productions.

Watching now -- "Dracula vs. Frankenstein" (1971). I figure it's a good time for some Al Adamson lunacy...

Watching now -- "Daughters of Satan" (1972). With a pre-Magnum P.I. Tom Selleck!

Watching now -- "The Curse of the Werewolf" (1961). Oliver Reed as a wolfman in a Hammer Film Production!

Watching now -- "El Baron del Terror" aka "The Brainiac" (1962).

Watching now -- "Scream Blacula Scream" (1973).

Watching now -- "Blacula" (1972).

Watching now -- "La Nuit des Traqués" / "The Night of the Hunted" (1980). Not to be confused with "The Night of the Hunter" (1955), this film is directed by the great Jean Rollin.

Watching now -- "Burial Ground" (1981). A recent Blu-Ray purchase. I really dig this one, from the weird, slow-moving zombies to the creepy "kid" (who is really something else, lemme tell ya'!). A plotless wonder.

Altered States and the Devils fit in with the horror film/Halloween path I'm trying to stay on for the next week or so in their own ways. Whore might not, I guess. Well, maybe we can call it a "whore-or film", how about that?

Rumor has it that 🍄🍄🍄 are also on the menu...

"Whore" (1991) -- Theresa Russell (no relation) as a streetwalkin' hooker with a heart full of napalm!

"Altered States" (1980) -- Been trippin' ballz on this one since I was just a wee lad!

"The Devils" (1971) -- Uncut bootleg Blu-Ray! Well, as uncut as you can get, it seems.

Tonight! It's a wild triple-feature of Ken Russell films!

Watching now -- "City of the Living Dead" aka "The Gates of Hell" (1980). Another Lucio Fulci classic. I don't have this one on a physical format... yet. Here's posters under both titles.

Watching now -- "Zombie" aka "Zombi 2" aka 'Z ombie Flesh Eaters" and a bunch of other alternate titles (1979). Finally got this gloriously fun Lucio Fulci classic on a physical format in the form of this fairly cheap DVD.
