you can even just avoid the fetish posts entirely and talk in the hobby sections for a while. it’s what i did for my first few days. it helped me ease in, knowing i was among people like me, people who wouldn’t judge, but not quite getting into the thick of it yet.

yeah i was definitely freaked out for a while with just how openly everyone was talking on there. but after i made an account and started making some posts i realized just how normal a lot of them are. being on there made me feel more comfortable with who i am, less ashamed. if only a little.

NieR! :D am i biased? maybe... but its hard not to be for the best games ever! they aren't on sale rn but discs and G2A keys are like 20 bucks. there's also the Drakengard games that are connected but they aren't on any modern consoles :/ easy to emulate though! (WARNING: you WILL cry many times.)

also, this might sound childish, but you should play NieR Replicant! two main characters, an intersex woman and a gay disabled boy have arcs about self acceptance and learning to love themselves. it genuinely helped me get to the mindset i have today. you can emulate the old version for free on pc!

i know it’s easier said than done, but maybe you have to let it be. i spent years hating my body, and honestly, i still kinda do. but at the end of the day, it’s what nature gave me. it’s a body i can live and breathe and smile and cry with. and i think that’s beautiful. everyone is beautiful! :D
