John tried to put as many hearts in our meal as possible. Beets and radish hearts in the salad. Potato hearts side and even out halomui cheese for our burger was shaped into hearts. The garlic bread was just in case the meal wasn't "cheesy enough".

A rabbit jumped out in front of Janet and I.The rabbit tried to go under the fence but was blocked by the snow. Instead it fell back INTO Janet. The ensuing minute proved that Janet would not survive in the wild. Janet was so thrilled to have gotten so close and is now a great hunter in her mind.

Somehow we lost the waffle plates to the waffle maker. Amelia isn't crazy about pancakes so I attempted to make her a panini waffle. It did not work. We had pancakes.

I learned a new word today. A student kept saying he needed new gitches. He was looking at me funny when I asked a few questions. Is it a toy? Do you eat it? Do you play with it? I finally asked another teacher and she let me know that he needed to change his underwear. Gitches means underwear.
