Loving the LOTR movies is so funny sometimes. Like hm, I have a bunch of crafts to do and need something to watch that I am both familiar with that is still engaging enough to keep me entertained for at least 3 hours. What could I possibly use

Was it the ineffable je ne sais quoi of my demeanor that marked me as an artist or was it the one hand clutching fake flowers and craft paint while the other fondled acrylic brushes. We'll never know

Never felt more like an art major than today when an elderly gentleman wandered into the aisle I was in at Michaels, looked at me, and asked where the charcoal was. I found it and gave him advice on the different types too

Oh I feel that lol it's hard! Especially when there's so many stories of people being absolutely awful to artists for their process times. But even with all of that, I think you'll have a lot of fun with it, and make a lot of people very happy with your work! Also. Eat Them lol

As a fellow slow artist, my official advice is this: Eat Them. If they can't wait for your beautiful art, then they don't deserve it 💖

Trying to tell people that maybe you're too stupid or not good enough to do something can be so hard because they'll try to be nice
