I am sooo excited about the International Court of Justice decision! #ClimateICJAO #ClimateJusticeAtTheICJ. This is a validation of what an entire movement has been saying for years. Now all states must act, particularly those most responsible. For what it means for the #UK, see below👇

The Bonn Climate Conference (#SB62), meant to lay crucial groundwork for #COP30, is off to a shaky start.

Rich countries are once again dodging their duty to support those hardest hit by the climate crisis.

This isn’t just unfair—it’s a deep injustice. 🧵

The #UK cannot pretend to be a global leader on climate and then do nothing. Communities devastated by climate chaos and poorer countries moving away from fossil fuels are entitled to much more grant-based public finance. The good news? It's possible if you make polluters pay!

📢 The UK Government plans to make deep cuts to the aid budget, claiming it’s a choice between defence spending or humanitarian aid. Yet a small tax on the super rich would raise £24 billion a year.
