Totally agree! It's completely bonkers that we've not had any ounce of a meaningful update in so long. Obviously it's apples and oranges, but I look at teams like Supergiant who give detailed breakdowns of progress and next goals. Team Cherry has absolutely betrayed its audience

I've always felt really weird about how nasty people get about it not being Silksong. Always feels like people are watching and glossing over a lot of fantastic games because it wasn't the blockbuster they wanted.

The Indie directs are incredibly inconsistent when it comes to having end-of-show stingers; it always feels odd.

And keeping UFO 50 for a sizzle reel also felt really odd???

Also you can't say "guys i called Silksong would be here" when you've been doing that for the last half a decade for every Indie World presentation

I think they might show some games at the Indie World presentation.

Yeah, I could see that being the case. They had that really weird looking armor set in TotK for completing all shrines, so i guess they could use that too

For the record: I do not believe Nintendo's insistence that Age of Imprisonment is canonical. I simply do not believe it. They do not have the respect for their own narrative to not find some way to shoot Link backwards in time and somehow be there during the events of the game

I feel like both Fallout and The Elder Scrolls kinda get by on their legacy. Starfield is the first game for Bethesda without any legacy propping it up, and it really exposed how flimsy their systems are.

I've not seen any type of lasting impact for Starfield, and I can't see that changing tbh
