Microsoft Makes Deep Job Cuts Across Xbox Division, Cancels Games Hundreds of people were laid off as the company canceled upcoming games such as Perfect Dark and Everwild

Last year Microsoft made $88 billion (that's billion, with a B) in profit on $245B in revenue. That's a 36% profit margin. The idea that they have to put 9000 people out of work in order to improve profitability is absolutely ghoulish. This is not a struggling company, they're swimming in profit.
