folks don't know that AIs scraping websites accounts for like half of all internet bandwidth usage right now. Sites get scraped- ie, all the contents downloaded- over and over again, destroying/wasting their bandwidth, often maxing it out. It's like being continually DDOS'd

Yikes. A betrayal of paying readers, of manga artists, of hardworking translators facing a nightmare job market, of letterers, of editors, of designers...just wholesale backstabbing of your entire product from beginning to end. Astronomically stupid decision from higher ups, @viz.com ❌

4th day of gencon was much chiller for us, finally got to catch up with some friends properly, and i got to do the free paint and take! this is my favorite gencon tradition.

anyways, i think anyone saying, “oh it’s 100% gonnq be daggerheart” needs a reality check. there’s pluses and minuses with both systems, and these folks are still pretty passionate about dnd even as their new baby game takes off.

honestly, just dnd minus combat initiative really would fix the main issue i have with these long form games. i’m fine w/ either system as long as the cast has fun, but from an audience perspective i definitely prefer no initiative.

clearly this is echoed by others, but i struggle to understand. does the system make that much of a difference when we’re here for the story? dimension 20 regularly switches up systems, & it never really affects my enjoyment in any meaningful way since the cast is fun regardless.

3rd day of gencon was much better! caught up with lots of friends, bought too much art, and painted minis! (aka all the things we come to gencon for)

4th day let’s gooooo!

2nd day of gencon was sad because i had trouble finding people, the cosplans fell thru, & i didn’t sleep well at all resulting in a fairly miserable con day.

also, boo to the comments looking for something to be mad about already with just this little amount of info. if pessimism is your knee-jerk reaction, maybe reflect on that.
