Something Stitches

Two fluffy brown tabbies lay on a wrinkled comforter, snuggled up together. The larger (and younger) cat is having her ear groomed by her mother.

I posted a while back saying Stitches and her mom aren't close very often. That has changed. When Stitches has determined that it is Mom Time, she goes and lays as close to Rose as possible to get her mom to groom her.

There was a spider on the wall. Stitches pounced on it, but it fell before she could eat it. This was taken several minutes after the spider was gone. Hope is eternal.

This is Stitches. Her mom did an oopsie and scalped her ten-hour-old kitten trying to walk through a door. Doors are hard for cats carrying kittens, turns out. Luckily, her first foster human was a vet and was able to stitch her noggin back together.

And this is the start of Something Stitches.
