I've read a few books by each, and while I think Asimov, Heinlein and Clarke were immensely talented writers, good grief were they weird about women—I actually think Heinlein might've been the LEAST weird!

Idc about Asimov's likely opinions per se, but I'm inclined to like the show for committing to the idea of remixing his ideas and plots to suit the format better.
I'm not crazy about all the specifics of how they did it, but I'm pretty sure a "faithful" adaptation would have come out just awful.
