Upon finishing it, I have to say that #WonderMan is the best thing in the MCU in ages. Character-driven storytelling. If you missed it because of the horrible advertising, go check it out. It has heart and so many layers, and Abdul-Mateen and Kingsley deserve awards for their performances.

I didn't know what to expect, and I've been really impressed. So much love in the show. I worry it'll be overlooked because it was dropped all at once without much hype.

We're halfway through Wonder Man, and if you haven't watched it, you really should. The scenes where Abdul-Mateen and Kingsley are just allowed to dwell on their love of acting are quite possibly the best scenes in the whole MCU, and I don't say that lightly. Just a masterclass in acting going on.

I usually don't read any fic before I watch a show, but @madlori.bsky.social wrote for HR so I am very tempted.

We just got around to watching ADOLESCENCE and, holy hell, that was astounding.

Here’s an email exchange I had with Glen Wooten, the person in charge of SDCC’s Art Show. The previous language has been in place for a couple of years & was a compromise between himself & the higher ups. This whole ruckus convinced them that they needed more forceful language, so that’s great.

I don't think it was as good as the Netflix shows, but I really enjoy the performances. I think Charlie Cox doesn't get enough appreciation for this role.

Fantastic Four was okay. As for the series, I enjoyed Daredevil and Echo. I went to the vast majority of MCU movies on opening day, and since No Way Home, I'm mostly waiting till streaming.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Definitely better than the rest of the MCU's recent output.
