I just got home from work and went to open tabs just in case it went down again, and it's already down again. 😱😭

Really feeling the addiction at this point, and I'm not even sorry about it.

How much time do I spend on AO3 such that I feel so aimless and lost now?

It's a great character study. Glad you're enjoying it!

Upon finishing it, I have to say that #WonderMan is the best thing in the MCU in ages. Character-driven storytelling. If you missed it because of the horrible advertising, go check it out. It has heart and so many layers, and Abdul-Mateen and Kingsley deserve awards for their performances.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

I didn't know what to expect, and I've been really impressed. So much love in the show. I worry it'll be overlooked because it was dropped all at once without much hype.

We're halfway through Wonder Man, and if you haven't watched it, you really should. The scenes where Abdul-Mateen and Kingsley are just allowed to dwell on their love of acting are quite possibly the best scenes in the whole MCU, and I don't say that lightly. Just a masterclass in acting going on.

I usually don't read any fic before I watch a show, but @madlori.bsky.social wrote for HR so I am very tempted.

We just got around to watching ADOLESCENCE and, holy hell, that was astounding.

Just thinking that Depeche Mode's "Question of Lust" is a good #buddie song.

Yes, I'm old.

Yes, I'm trying to ignore the outside world for a few minutes.

Here’s an email exchange I had with Glen Wooten, the person in charge of SDCC’s Art Show. The previous language has been in place for a couple of years & was a compromise between himself & the higher ups. This whole ruckus convinced them that they needed more forceful language, so that’s great.

Was just thinking this while grocery shopping. Feels so divorced from the greater reality.

Sympathies for your loss. Looks like you provided a loving life for your sweet kitty.

Received kudos on two Johnlock stories that are almost a decade old. So grateful for the generosity of fandom.

I, too got "melancholic" and have deemed it all too fitting. LOL

Just went on a following spree, trying to build up this fandom timeline. Miss you all when I'm not around!

Once again amazed by the Avatar box office because nobody I know in real life has seen any of the movies.

Just thinking that all my favorite characters from STAR WARS now are from the animated series. Also thinking that folks who loved (deservedly) ANDOR are missing out if they've never watched REBELS, which is its animated counterpart in spirit.

Nope. It's all about fatherhood. The theme of the movie is fatherhood, apparently.

My husband played the Thor teaser, and it was so boring.

Still so upset we didn't get to spend more time with Steve at his peak beauty.

I don't think it was as good as the Netflix shows, but I really enjoy the performances. I think Charlie Cox doesn't get enough appreciation for this role.

Fantastic Four was okay. As for the series, I enjoyed Daredevil and Echo. I went to the vast majority of MCU movies on opening day, and since No Way Home, I'm mostly waiting till streaming.

19.12.2025 02:36 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Overall, I enjoyed it. Definitely better than the rest of the MCU's recent output.
