one move i’ve been playing with:

when i invite Ss to turn and talk during standing launch or consolidation, i move behind the group while they talk. i’ve found that it promotes more discussion. then i go back up in front of group when it’s time for whole group discussion.

anyone else try this?

Why do we spend so much effort/time delineating between expressions and equations? Don’t all expressions represent a value?

I’m teaching a #thinkingclassroom lesson on “evaluating expressions” and it’s got me thinking of when it clearly matters if exp or eq. and i don’t have a good case. do you?

the funny part is that i have about the same space as i did in some of studio apartments i lived in in Venice Beach when you factor in a queen size bed in the apartment. in my truck, the bed gets made and put away every day. so im either in bedroom mode or living/work mode.
