I gave cross country skiing a go last week in Livigno at the Winter Olympics.
Thought I was doing ok, wanted to take a nice picture and then this Klaebo style dude zooms past just to put me in my place....

Last night, I got properly "doored" for the first time. A car in the road to my right paused, and the rear left passenger threw open his door without looking, right into my path. I ended up on the floor, badly winded but ok.

If you don't know what the "Dutch reach" is, NOW is the time to learn.

There's a lot going on in the world right now but one (additional) thing I wish we could change is chewing gum litter on our streets.

I always checkout the pile of bikes there, the stories and memories. Hope they find a new home.
