I like your answer because it highlights how we have been conditioned to thinking that we have to pay certain things regardless but in the second scenario, I meant no deductions are necessary
Govt isn't demanding any deductions for anything
It's tax free

Think:
Two scenarios
1 - A worker gets a govt job & receives 2k/mnth with 200 deductions
2 - The same worker gets the same govt job, but gets paid 1800/mnth with no deductions

They both get 1800 in their bank account, so what is the difference?
