So I saw a creator talk about adding up her Target purchases in 2024 and comparing to 2025. She had a 90% reduction in spending as she was boycotting. I did the same and mine is also down 90%! Withholding money works as protest! #boycott #democracy

I first looked at what I buy that are my essentials. Found local places that sell them. If that didn’t work I bought direct from the company. It is a little harder initially, but the satisfaction of not shopping those places feels so good

So I’m 58, an empty nester, and have a small jewelry business. My son has his masters in CS. He showed me how to use AI to help my business, and OMG, my life is golden! I’m glad I listened and learned!

My daughter is in law school and has built her life around public interest. She called today after meeting with a nonprofit she worked for that is essential, saying that they think they may not exist in the near future. She’s wrecked. What do I even say to her!!!

My 26 yo son said exactly this. He’s pretty smart. Masters computer science. I didn’t really give it a lot of thought until he mentioned it and also said the only place in the us that coffee will grow is Hawaii!
