Meet Mephisto - my macabre cat sculpt that I've been working on for ages now. An update on progress - stability layer of clay is on the tail and baked. An additional layer has been applied to the tail to build out the girth and next I'll begin texturing before moving on to the final phase: the base!

It was a worthwhile experiment, but after a year of consistent streaming its pretty clear that Twitch is not a goal worth working toward. My art is for me and Im looking forward to getting back to that.

Hand sculpted using polymer clay!

This year I'm adding a new medium to my livestreams and my journey to learn and improve my art! In my pursuit to learn digital drawing/Procreate I've found tutorials incredibly helpful to familiarize myself with brushes,etc. Today I completed this!

"Jeb" the Jerboa - Hand sculpted live on Twitch. This jerboa is based on the model from the Ark Survival games. Made with cosclay and painted with acrylics. The base is covered in a sand ballast. My first ever animal sculpture and first time trying this technique for fur.
