Today I have used a cane for the first time outside !!

It was both an amazing and difficult experience tbh. I realized that walking with cane requires skill and dyspraxia really makes it hard to use. Yet it still helped me so much, my pain levels were lower than usual.

I really agree with this one. Also when we are in survival mode we tend to not process our feelings or "mute" them like you said. You may have a "sadness debt" as I would like to call that you couldn't process at the time but now that you are free and available, processing now.
