I get that not everyone agrees that’s the right approach.

In terms of this post, I am just glad to see more queer people in every sphere of life, hence my comment. When I grew up with gay parents there was nothing but invisibility.

I come from a queer family which includes trans people - who I take my steer from. Yes I don’t agree with everything the government has done in this area and I lobby on this issue within the party. It means a hell of a lot to me and I hope that I will have more influence inside the party than out.

Awful footage, and sadly not an isolated incident.

The co-opting of "quiet rooms" (for people to choose to briefly escape/recover from sensory overload before it gets worse) to justify clearly abusive restraint is sickening.
