I’ve started keeping a notebook full of ideas I put on little post-its. Then if I’m stalling I go to the book and find the idea that seems the most manageable or fun in that moment! The small post-its help keep the ideas to a size that’s not overwhelming

A little owlbear experiment in markers, colored pencil, and microns. I’ve always favored the 1970’s design inspired by a novelty dinosaur toy (my replica desk buddy courtesy of fellow owlbear-ologist @diterlizzi.bsky.social ) and popularized by the Sutherland illustration in the monster manual.
