I’ve seen AI job applicants using a face filter to change their identity, and when asked to put their hand in front of their face they refuse.
This is all going to get much worse really fast.
And with quantum computing around the corner encryption is dead.

My parents have already had texts from people spoofing my number asking for money and they had to call me to check.

IOS App restarts had the opposite effect for me, became unusable when turning off VPN

Also having to warn my parents that if I call them crying and asking for money on the phone/facetime that they need to come and check with me in person no matter WHAT I say on the call, is honestly depressing.

And now making sure people are aware I don’t want pictures of me on the internet anywhere

I am so sick of government oversight.
Quit prying open my door of privacy.

Sweet got full app functionality back and I don’t have to hand over any data.
I wonder how much this government policy is going to cost the taxpayer for wasted money.

Guess it’s actually time for a VPN…

The UK is launching ‘porn age checks’. This is what will happen The UK is about to launch some of the strongest checks on pornography in the world.

It's not just "porn" sites. As of midnight, any site that allows NSFW is now legally required in the UK to bar visitors unless they present a govt ID, submit to a biometric scan, or otherwise identify themselves.

That means Discord, Bluesky, Reddit, X.

The anonymous internet is now closed.
