Coupla weeks of headlines and then *boom* suddenly all will be forgiven and they'll be back bigger and stronger like nothing ever happened. You watch.

No. No it won't.
I've got my snacks at the ready. ๐๐
Doggy bag? Or bowl?
04.03.2026 03:08 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Why can't you have both?
04.03.2026 03:06 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I think we can all agree that the US system is an utter joke. I've yet to hear of any aspect of it that isn't laughable.
04.03.2026 00:06 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 4 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0To be fair, you have to buy your democracy sausage. Nobody gives it to you. More's the pity.
03.03.2026 23:57 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Kind of like ISIS brides innit? They made their beds...
03.03.2026 21:31 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I tried the nose thing. It did nothing. Pillows worked. My son has had some success with the mouth guard device. But mum and my other son (snoring seems to be in our DNA) have only had success with a CPAP.
03.03.2026 06:53 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I improved things significantly just by using 2 pillows to raise my head. Took a little getting used to but now I can't sleep any other way. Lots cheaper than a CPAP.
03.03.2026 04:45 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Shut u-up? Why certainly! You don't think I'm the type that would keep on blabbin'? Some people never know when to stop. When I'm told to shut up, I shut up...
01.03.2026 11:00 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Same here. He did the gun control thing and I thought "hey maybe this could work out well after all". Boy didn't I soon change ideas!
01.03.2026 08:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Well said
01.03.2026 06:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Sorry Amy, I lived it. I'm not sure I want to relive it. But I agree with the fundamental concept.

Thought this was a fake tweet. It's not a fake tweet.

Albo isn't going anywhere soon. As things stand at the moment, he'll step down possibly mid next term and I reckon Chalmers will take over the leadership similar to the Hawke-Keating deal. So says my crystal ball.

Yes, I've been saying for many years now - don't underestimate Albo. He often seems to get his way.
That's not necessarily a good thing mind you.
Yes, agree.
I think it's a case of *the party* learned from being burned by the Shorten big platform. And now *the party* stays small target, especially given it's working for them. The leader has some influence, sure but it is limited. Faction leaders also have sway.
Julie Bishop seems to be pretty well set
28.02.2026 07:56 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0That changes nada. The party room decides positions and policy, not the leader.
28.02.2026 06:16 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I trust you know Shorten can't be leader? In fact he can't be anything given he's quit politics.
28.02.2026 06:15 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0People forget that ALP is not a dictatorship, it is run democratically. What and how they fight for in the party room is hidden. They are bound by group decisions. That includes Albo.
28.02.2026 00:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's going to be pretty funny when the UK Greens - the weird Green cousin that the Australian Greens always gave a pat on the head and a biscuit to, and lots of patronising encouragement - end up being a 20% party and send their people to Oz to help our lot get above their perpetual 12%

28.02.2026 00:42 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Careful. General Dave doesn't seem to like that being pointed out.
27.02.2026 23:30 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Which is your personal opinion, right, wrong or indifferent. But the available evidence shows that a large majority of Australians either disagree with you or are fine with it.

Oh sure, "... re-emerging as a serious option for Australian voters" (your own words) has nothing at all to do with elections does it?
That's a pretty poor attempt you've made at back tracking there general.
There's no compulsion to sign any kind of lease when renting. At least, not in NSW. Nor is it fraudulent to rent out a property on a loss basis. That's the whole point of negative gearing. Lots of landlords do it.
27.02.2026 05:15 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I don't know why but I get this nagging feeling that her report will backfire badly on the likes of Advance. Possibly just wishful thinking, admittedly.

Bloody Howard. He was a pox on this country.
Stop all those aussies in Bali from coming back into the country for a couple of days and I bet that type of sentiment would change quick smart.
