That was great - I do envy those with a talent for music and singing.

I had a dream last year in which I was trying to figure out if dragons are edible. I decided their eggs would be but figured eating the dragon itself may depend on their diet which I didn't know about.

You know what... the rabbit never got a name. So you're free to name him 🙂 As to the collaboration, Tyler was a long time fan of the film. He felt that the film shared alot of themes with their song. I agreed. While we have different worldviews, the emotions that the film expresses are very much the sme. And I really like the band and their song. So... they reached out to hear if we could do a merger of the two. I could feel they were very sincere and had given it alot of thought. So after talking back and forth a bit - I agreed. And then we worked back and forth, with editing and sound design. It was alot of fun. So while the original film is not made for their song, and vice versa, I think something new and interesting came out of it. Originally, the film was a graduation film, a way of getting on filmfestivals and maybe getting to do more of my own films. It did just that, and launched a directing career for me. Now, 16 years later, it's been on a shelf for years. I liked the idea that it could maybe spark some joy or meaning for a new crowd of people. To "pass it on" if that makes sense.
