John Lewis was beaten for the right to vote. He bled for the right to vote. He believed so deeply that better was possible that he took that fight to Congress. We all should honor that spirit in our fight against fascism today. Let's make some #GoodTrouble y'all.

As a former math teacher, I can tell you this: no teacher can fix a system that sends kids to class hungry, over-policed, and under-insured. We need funding, counselors, nurses, libraries, and housing. The test score is not the starting point. It is the result.

Trump's tariffs were an illegal tax on working families to fund billionaire tax breaks. The Court struck them down. Good. Now where's the refund? Families in GA-13 paid more for groceries and gas for over a year.

We need fighters in Congress who claw that back, not bystanders.

I’m horrified by the revelations in the Epstein files.

I do not care who you are, what party you’re a part of, how much money is in your bank account, or what title you hold, anyone who abuses children must be held accountable by law.

We should all be more outraged.

Young Democrats in Georgia have been shaping the way Georgia politics moves for a while, now it’s time to help lead. I know that we are ready to tackle the issues that we face head-on. It was great being in a community with all of you.

We talk about “the economy” like it is a stock ticker. Here is my test: can a family in GA-13 pay rent, buy groceries, see a doctor, and still have a little left for joy.

If the answer is no, I do not call that a strong economy.

Working full-time at the federal minimum wage for a year is $15,080.

When people can’t afford food or shelter, small businesses suffer the consequences.

My barber, Greg Brown, has noticed the economy has slowed.

In Congress, I won’t just write strongly-worded letters, I’ll actually fight for legislation that helps our small businesses thrive again.
