Additional options include buying the same fabric she is using in the videos. I chose to use different fabric so I skipped that option.
Also she has an optional 5" square up ruler that matches the templates. I did get that optional extra.

Days 13 through 24, optional add on, use the same templates from the first 12 days and has a new pattern for each day in the pink zip bag shown in my pictures. The block size works perfectly with 5 inch charm squares, finishing to 4½".

Days 1 through 12 is in a zippered project bag and there is an envelope with a pattern for the block each day and a custom acrylic template needed to make the block.

Unfortunately, this years 12 day templates are sold out. She might have some from previous years in stock, but each year's are distinctively different.

I like that it prevents deceptive text changes. Imagine liking something that layer got turned into something completely different that you would never want to be associated with. It prevents getting 1984'd to a degree.

Stripology rulers are a big time saver. They are a bit pricey, but getting the authentic Stripology ones are worth it. Friends who bought other brands didn't like them. Stripology XL is the most versatile and a good one to start with.

My first year also. Carolina Moore included it in her massive collection of Advent Calendars daily videos on YouTube last year. They were consistently one of the best quilting related ones last year.

It's really good exercise to burn holiday calories in advance.

48" square quilt made from Goodnight Moon fabric.

Done except for chasing threads. Finished size 48"x48" going to my 2yo great grandson. Fabric line: Goodnight Moon FQ bundle, Batting: washable wool, Pattern: unknown. Pieced, quilted in the hoop, and bound by me.
