13 points this season against 8 last season from equivalent six games (plus 3 from Leeds at home). Big improvement

In the last week, Arsenal have played three fixtures - Newcastle away, Olympiakos at home and West Ham at home - that they lost the last time the corresponding fixture was played.

They've won all three.

Mikel Arteta and a quest for the โ€˜extraordinaryโ€™ as he nears 300 games in charge of Arsenal Saturday's game against with West Ham will be Arteta's 300th as Arsenal manager. The club are unrecognisable from the day his journey began

Arteta at 300.

Still feels remarkable Arsenal appointed a rookie back then. Here's a look at what he found, what he's doing, and what he is driven for next.

Great piece. I've felt a bit lost the last few days. I'd always felt, to a certain extent, like I floated above a lot of this. I live in North London, work in showbiz, have a lot of fun and, to paraphrase Fiddler, 'we don't bother them and so far, they don't bother us'. Doesn't feel like that now.

I could list some of the things they've done or said they're going to do (ยฃ20bn for the NHS for example) but I think the fact that Rayner resigned the moment she knew she broke the ministerial code as opposed to Hunt or Zahawi or Johnson or the many others. That's better no?
