Arteta certainly seems to prefer Havertz & Gyorkeres together as sort of a striker duo, rather than Havertz as the lone CF. But Havertz is out due to injury again, & strength in depth can only help you so much when you have 5 first team regulars out of contention every week.

I'd have to think Arteta must feel Jesus doesn't provide the size and/or necessary goal threat Gyorkeres does at CF, regardless of the players around him. I don't agree with that, to be perfectly clear, but that might explain his persistence with Gyokeres.

We're still top but the margin for error is quickly shrinking & we haven't looked much like a title winning side for a good two months now. I hope I'm wrong.
