Since I got back into running, I’ve been sleeping better, had more energy, my back hasn’t hurt as much, and as you can see, I’m well on my way to being completely insufferable.

The good of summer: stay outside reading until it gets dark and the fireflies come out.

The bad of summer: the fireflies were apparently obligated to bring their shitty cousins, the mosquitoes.

About to do a 5K in the rain. Just in case anyone mistakenly thought I respected myself.

It’s my birthday week. Which will entail very little until the weekend and nobody is expected to do anything for it. But I WILL be acting just slightly entitled about it. As a treat to me.

Awfully rude that I can’t spend the entirety of my birthday week sitting on the porch reading in nice weather.

Most of the biggest and best swings from Marvel came from the “Krakoa Era” in the X-men books. Go wild with those, especially Marauders. Secret Wars had a lot of wild fun ancillary stuff but was intentionally not interested in continuity. And the Slott/Allred Silver Surfer run is basically Dr Who.
