Nobody who can explain the interior layouts and tech specs of 12+ different spaceship classes to me can be considered stupid.

I am gently but insistently petting your head and holding it against my chest until my heartbeat drives those thoughts away and helps your eyes drift shut. 💜

Burnout is also a factor. Especially with commission art. The unstructured nature of independent art as a business is extremely spoon-intensive and doesn’t leave a lot of mental recovery time. Taking that time can exacerbate stress and self-blame.

Consent matters. One can't just... Project yourself into someone else's art, teasing, and just assume they'll be okay with it because they're doing it with someone else, or hell even just a solo piece like that. If I got imposed into someone's gut like that without my prior knowing, I'd feel horrid.

The visual aids were certainly powerful, but it’s your specific mood, mindset, words, phrasings and approach that I’ve always found enchanting. Your vibes are far more compelling, long-term, than your art. At least to me.

Also congrats on moving out of a bad situation!! That’s a great life shift.

There are so many transitions of gentle shadows. When you started sharing ‘pixels’ from this, I could already tell that you were detailing this so deep I’ll be finding secrets encoded into it for the next 5 years.

You drew me impossibly pretty, rising towards the sun and grinning into the deeps.

It’s actually impossible for me to totally capture everything I love about this, in words. Even after all the yapping I did when you showed it to me.

The whales in the background have actual detailing and features.
The streams of water have internal specular effects like galaxies or nebula.

Oh my goodness, Feral…! Thank you! A?!?! I am blown away by this - I absolutely love the fit and that hanging … moon? PLANET? … in the background, this is such a gorgeous, surreal and otherworldly scene. I also adore that from the perspective it’s equally likely Tay is towering over the viewer…~ 💜💜💜
