I had to search what IMVU actually means. I'd generalize it a bit and say that once the amount of appearance mods hits a critical level, the character just doesn't look like they're from the game world of FFXIV anymore.

"Modder's Law": The more mods one installs, the more likely it becomes (=likelihood approaches 1) that characters look like they're straight out of KMMOs - regardless of the actual game (Skyrim, FFXIV... ).

(The reason is simple: Many mods are just straight rips from Asian, often Korean games.)
