私も手帳所持者。
今はだいぶ元気になったから、いろいろな情報を得てどこに投票すればマシなのかを模索できるけど、2年くらい前までは本当にしんどかった。
ギリギリ選挙自体は行けてたと思うけど、あんまり記憶がない。
ニュースもSNSも見るのが辛かった。特に映像で摂取する情報は聴覚過敏と相性悪すぎたし。

だからきっと、今このときも昔の私と同じような人がいるんだろうな、と不意に号泣してた。
何らかの理由で選挙に参加できない(あるいは、その他の“義務”と考えられている活動を行えない)人たちの人権も守ってこその政治だと思うし、そういう政治に加担したい。
