I met him once in Hawaii, around 2008. Though he was trying to be "chummy" and ingratiating with us, the vibe was distinctly septic, sulphurous and vile. Hard to shake it off. And I didn't even know who he was then, so it was an entirely organic and unbiased reaction. A palpable horror.

Sorry, but he needs to convert the most dangerous leaders from his old milieu to gain redemption, not merely bask in the joys of his new one! If he can dismantle the likes of the Heritage Foundation and others of that ilk, and dethrone some big "Christian" pols and influencers, I'll believe him.
