Now really enjoying Taria and Como, the other Season 2 game this week. The platforming is fun, but the writing is almost too good at mimicking the corporate awfulness it's satirizing. I'm getting deeply frustrated on behalf of the characters in it.

yep! I think I bought a brush pack years ago? and then have been fine-tuning the brushes ever since. It's called "GP PixelArt" in my brush folder but I can't remember where I bought it or if it was free. A lot of the pixel work is masking out dither patterns I've already made.

Taria & Como - Oh my god this is *so* good?? Its a really cool 2d platformer about a girl with a robot trying to rescue her sister from an evil corporation. Touches a lot on disability rights, how capitalism fucks up healthcare. Also has a fun swinging mechanic and very good art!!

It's a fun, at times challenging and moving game

I hear you! This is my first video game, I come from a comic book background. Definitely learning a lot from my mistakes this first time around. Just released an update that helps with some of the stagger. I hope it makes it playable for you, but understand if the game ends up not being your thing.
