I think it's time to start opposing these acts with force. It's terrible, but that is what seems appropriate and evenly balanced. I bet that sounds wrong, but how long can this be allowed?

#PotawatomiZoo is one of my favorite places in town. Winter days are a great break from the greys and chill of the season.

If you wanted to cut waste, fraud, and abuse, you would empower the inspectors general.

If you wanted more waste, fraud, and abuse, you would fire them.

An adult bald eagle carries a ring billed gull it hunted. The eagle's wings are outstretched to their full extent. The eagle's talons hold the gull by the torso. The gull is limp and lifeless. Its legs and head flop down.

This picture was taken 2/16/25 in Beverly Shores, Indiana. It's is an incredible display of survival by an incredible bird.

Trump has dismissed the director of the Office of Government Ethics. David Huitema, the former director, played a key role in vetting Trump administration appointees for conflicts of interest.

Yes he is.

This is the cruelty expressed my Trump and all that voted for him.

Would love to understand why every Democrat is not out there every second of the day explaining in plain English that Donald Trump has declared war on cancer patients.

My local zoo is a fantastic zoo. Education, animal enrichment, and engagement with the population are all just the best you could hope for. I love Potawatomi Zoo.

I got my first tattoo 30 years after I wanted to get my first tattoo. It's drastically different than what 20 year-old me would have chosen. I think it's a nice mid-life affirmation. It will serve as the anchor on a sleeve of tattoos that I plan on getting all on the left arm.

A heat index of 99° F doesn't sound as bad as it feels.
