UK Unions Criticize Government Over Freelance Champion Delay Bectu has criticized Lisa Nandy and the UK goverment for not appointing a Freelance Champion before Christmas in 2025.

We’re deeply frustrated that the government has missed its own deadline to appoint a Freelance Champion. Freelancers power the UK’s creative industries yet once again their voices risk being sidelined. We need action, not delay. Freelancers deserve proper representation now. bit.ly/49xAVVM
