30 years ago, two strangers met on a train.
A film about nothing. Just two people talking. And somehow, it became the greatest love story ever put to screen.

'In the Mood for Love' premiered 25 years ago in Cannes.
What a beautiful piece of cinema, and as Maggie said then, it 's impact will last an eternity. If you love the film, check out my video on it's turbulent production down below.
This film plays tricks on you.

Happy 1st of May everyone! Chungking Express has a very special place in my heart, especially since my video on it was the first big step for my channel. It was my introduction to the wonderful work of Wong Kar-wai and it's a film I can endlessly re-watch.

There's something satisfying in the coincidence that the 100th film I watched this year is also the 1250th logged on my Letterboxd, it's all nice and round. Also, Neo Sora's Happyend blew me away, I'd love to talk about it in a video someday.
My new video is out! A deep dive into the strange, still, and brilliant world of Takeshi Kitano. A comedian, cult filmmaker and one of the most unique editors. I was fascinated by him since my teenage years so I'm happy to finally get to talk about his work. Link belowπ
