because this stuff seemed so literal to me i comfortably decided i was a nonbeliever. which to lazy people who only practice their religion when they're scared means i was a devil worshipper 😋

i knew well enough not to ask questions by that point but once i had time to think about it on my own i was like "I've never talked to god because i can't hear him, there's just me up there" and made the connection that sky daddy wasn't real (to me)

i was more raised with the expectation that we should believe in a christian god but were too dysfunctional to organize ourselves to actual church and crap like that. a family member got sick and i was asked to say a prayer for them and ask god to grant them good health and all that
