We had a visitor to our feeder yesterday. It tried to catch another bird, which was the first I saw of this hawk, but the other bird escaped. All the others that had been flocking around the feeders disappeared. Pretty cool. #pnwlife #gardening #birding

I took Oliver for his first walk in the woods today, which he loved after a while. He was a little scared at first, but then he figured out he could run around, and then he was so happy. #pnwlife #australianshepherds #gardening

Jake and I are taking our new little monster on lots of walks in the vain attempt that this happens more often. Oliver is learning "come" and "sit" as well as a few other commands pretty quickly. He's also learned to pull his leash off the door knob when he wants to go out.
