That's a good question.

That's it for now folks, I had quite a backlog before I made this account today. But stay tuned, because I'll have plenty more works to show off in the future!

We've come full circle. Or full sphere? I made a second Spheal using the same pattern again by Veracrochetsstuffs, but instead of honey bunny and a 5mm, I used honey bunny BIG and a 10mm hook! Original Spheal and my husband for scale.

This isn't a 1:1 recreation, but my friend who really likes this baby pear meme wanted a crochet pear and this pattern by DIY Fluffies fit the bill perfectly. Honey bunny and 5mm.

This is my friend @laghairt.ie, and his twin who is also named Laghairt and is also my friend. Crochet creatures of myth and legend by Megan Lapp is an interesting book that lists modular parts you can mix and match, rather than individual patterns, and that's how I made these guys!

Another free pattern by Darling Maple Creations, here's their "Jellybean octopus". I thought it'd be fun to show people what happens if you use the same pattern, same number of stitches, theoretically the same amount of work, but different yarn/hook sizes. Suffice it to say, it makes a difference.

I've probably made at least 30+ "Jellybean goldfish" using Darling Maple Creation's free pattern by now. It was actually one of the first patterns I tried. No sewing is always a bonus for me!

Here we have a weedle as designed by fluffandwhiskers.crochet, with a can of coke for size comparison. In theory if I just kept adding more segments, there's no limit to how long it could get... Weedle scarf, anyone? Honey bunny and 5mm.

Ah, my proudest crochet achievement so far. This one was actually something I did freehand, so there's no designer to credit but myself. Based on the "autism creature" from the popular tumblr meme, I submitted this to Scotiacon's charity auction in 2025 and it sold for Β£100!

Here's Arcanine, by Vincrafty! This one ended up being a big challenge for me, not because of the pattern, but because I was still too new at the craft to properly know how much yarn I'd need and I kept running out. I should redo it some day.

Parson the low quality photos, but here's Cubone from the PokΓ©mon crochet books! This little fella is my husband's favourite. The skull was a challenge, as it's made in several separate parts that are assembled together later. Honey bunny and 5mm.

The Mind Flayer, by Crafty Tibbles. I won't deny I made a bit of a mess of the decorations on this one, particularly down at the base of the robe, but this was some of my earliest work (I'm not really posting this backlog in chronological order). Honey bunny and a 5mm hook.

I wish I'd taken better photos of this one before giving it away, but oh well. Here's a baby hippo as designed by crochetbygenna, based on the famous Moo Deng. Honey bunny yarn and a 5mm hook.
