Saw someone talking about it re salah. Setting it to someone’s own arc of their career is going to favour them, stats that are like ‘from the time both of them played in the same league’ are worse and a way to cherry pick stats, but it seems like a ‘natural’ thing to do

Feel like stats like ‘most goal contributions since X player joined the league’ are very sneakily biased, one of them ones where it’s hard to see how biased it is immediately
