I'm delving into the world of 3D printing with a new business, The Workbench 3D. It's a small shop for big dreams. If you have a need for something to be created, reach out and I'll see what I can do.

I'm delving into the realm of 3D printing with a new business, The Workbench 3D. It's a small shop for big dreams. If you have a need to have something fabricated, please reach out.

Physicists uncover evidence of two arrows of time emerging from the quantum realm What if time is not as fixed as we thought? Imagine that instead of flowing in one directionβ€”from past to futureβ€”time could flow forward or backwards due to processes taking place at the quantum level...

For quantum particles, time is as uncertain as their location in space.

What's the best way to organize people to generate ideas? New research offers insight Managers at every companyβ€”especially big corporationsβ€”face a similar conundrum: What's the ideal way to organize employees to generate the best ideas? Is it better to work in large groups? Smaller one...

The best way to generate ideas from a group is either in isolation or in random groups. Interesting.

Educated but easily fooled? Who falls for misinformation and why Researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development have identified who is most susceptible to online misinformation and why. Their meta-analysis reveals surprising patterns in how demograph...

Misinformation is just deception and deception is a social construct made to leverage opinion. In general, extraverts are a little more susceptible to misinformation than introverts, but if you want to really know if something is truly misinformation, ask an INTP.

Largest fusion reactor ever built set to transform global energy production Japan is revolutionizing energy production with the launch of the JT-60SA reactor, the world’s largest experimental nuclear fusion reactor.

For those of you not in the know, experimental nuclear fusion reactors around the globe are probably just a few years out from being fully functional. Once these are built and tied to the grid, every other power plant and green energy will be obsolete.

A 'city-killer' asteroid might hit Earthβ€”how worried should we be? A colossal explosion in the sky, unleashing energy hundreds of times greater than the Hiroshima bomb. A blinding flash nearly as bright as the sun. Shockwaves powerful enough to flatten everything for...

There’s a 1.6% chance that in 7 years from now, an asteroid large enough to destroy a city could strike Earth. My hope is that NASA and the various other space programs throughout the globe will be developing several contingency plans for deflecting it.

Exploring the boundary of quantum correlations with a time-domain optical processor A nonclassical quantum correlation with unprecedented strength is proposed and observed in a scalable optical platform.

Here’s an experiment that isolates the number of dimensions needed to explain the GHZ Paradox - aka the difference between macro and plank-scale physics. Answer: 37. But their assumption was time as a constant, which at the plank scale it’s not.

Dark energy 'doesn't exist' so can't be pushing 'lumpy' universe apart, physicists say One of the biggest mysteries in scienceβ€”dark energyβ€”doesn't actually exist, according to researchers looking to solve the riddle of how the universe is expanding.

Related to time theory, this is proof that time dilation is responsible for what most scientists say is β€œdark energy.” The truth is, they followed the math, but ignored the most obvious variable.

This was my first attempt at abstract topography. It was cut up and used for collage pieces, but I made a print and will rework it into something a little more interesting.

Scientists observe 'negative time' in quantum experiments Scientists have long known that light can sometimes appear to exit a material before entering itβ€”an effect dismissed as an illusion caused by how waves are distorted by matter.

Here’s evidence that supports my belief that quantum physics itself is the result of time non locality. In other words, particles reside within past, present and future until their waves collapse. In this experiment, the wave collapsed at a time other than the present. phys.org/news/2024-12...

I’m sharing my recent art thing. I call the approach abstract topography. It’s a sort of Impressionism that begins with a topographic map and then I rework it with ink, pencil, paint, glitter glue and collage techniques into art.
