This conversation isn't even about Taylor Swift for me, and by no means is it a dire issue (Free Palestine and Fuck ICE btw), but it's about allowing things that aren't for us to exist because our opinion isn't the only one! In a main character age, we must keep some awareness.

I don't like electronic music or super heavy metal very much. I can't relate to it but I have close friends who are very much in the space for that music and love it. It doesn't "click" in my brain but it does in theirs. What I love is seeing people enjoy themselves!!!!!

Unless something holds or pushes a harmful narrative, we should be encouraging differences in passion and experiences by letting go what is not for us rather than pushing negative energy on those who are enjoying it.
