We still Ned to keep our eyes on Minnesota, even with every thing else. This a worthwhile read and not too long.

I know there’s a lot and it gets more each day. But let’s not take our eyes off of Minnesota.

1. Terrible news for trans people in Idaho.
The state's House just passed one of the first private business bathroom bans in the United States.
It allows you to sue any private business that lets trans people pee if you think they're in the wrong bathroom.

My sense of Minnesota today is that there’s less tear gas and the same amount of unlawful detention, destruction of families, loss of livelihood, people in hiding.
There is less tear gas at places like Lake and Lyndale, so it’s not making news.
If you have a few extra bucks to help Minnesota, they still need support
11.02.2026 13:37 — 👍 64 🔁 56 💬 0 📌 0Sometimes very hard not to feel like the rest of the country has abandoned Minnesota. We STILL have ICE everywhere. Our schools, businesses, and economy are in profound crisis. But without Bovino here throwing tear gas, much of the country seems to not care at all what’s being done to us.

1/ ProPublica collected handwritten letters in mid-January from children held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the same facility where 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos was taken.
Hundreds of kids are still detained.
We’ll let the children’s words speak for themselves. 🧵
