And although I love them and know perfectly well that they don't mean for me to feel this way, it's unavoidable at this point. I don’t want to feel this way, but I just can’t help it.

They were all chatting amongst themselves about projects, achievements, relationships, and more. And I remained silent, with nothing to share, because I'm not experiencing anything as exciting as they are, and that somehow made me feel excluded, purposeless, and even powerless.

Lately, I've been distancing myself from my friends, so much so that I only leave the house for university. But the truth is, I wasn't comfortable, and it wasn't because of them, it was because of me. It was awkward being the only one in the group with nothing to talk about.

It's been a month since I gave up any hope of being in a relationship.

And well, although it still hurts, it's better than getting excited about insignificant things. It's like waking up and having your feet on the ground. Somehow it relieves the pain of false illusions.

And this year just keeps bringing disappointment, it’s getting ridiculous.

It's barely been a month of 2026 and I already have no motivation for anything.

These last few weeks I've felt empty; there's no excitement, no adventures. It's frustrating. There are so many things I want to experience and live, and they just aren't happening, and don’t think they will. Sucks.
