They are not cables but a series of loops made as you knit, which are then successively fed one into the next to make the braid when you are at the end of where you want your line of the braid to end. There are videos that the designer has made to show how it is done 😃

I had the pleasure of test knitting the Braided Lines vest by @popeknits.bsky.social which is now available! The “braids” are not difficult to make and beads are optional 😁

Ceci Tee by Laura Nelkin is now available! This was a fun summer knit that has a little beaded bling to jazz things up. I knit mine in Manos del Uruguay Serena and did some minor modifications like repeating the beaded detail at the sleeves and opting for a picot hem than a straight up folded hem.

#wipwednesday commuter knitting project today is my Geddy Tee by Tanis Lavallée. The granny squares are so fun!! I used @cactusyarnstudio.bsky.social to make them and paired it with a merino linen blend from Manos del Uruguay to keep it summery 😀

They were fun to make. I had a little issue of trying to figure out how to secure the tassels as I found the instructions not very clear. They seem to be holding in place so far! 😁
