It might be worth finding an editor familiar with sumo...he won his second straight basho, not his second straight Hatsu basho. All 6 basho have names, Hatsu only refers to the January one. He won the Kyushu basho in Nov and now the Hatsu basho.

Interesting. Sounds like they might be hinting that if he can beat both Hoshoryu and Onosato and have a strong record, that might count as equivalent performance even if he does yusho again.

Two yusho as an ozeki. In November he was sekiwake. He'll have to win again in March or have an equivalent performance to be up for yokozuna promotion.

But I believe he can do it. The last shin ozeki to yusho was Hakuho. So Aonishiki is following in some pretty big footsteps.
