5 things that have drastically improved my quality of life:

- Having decent health insurance
- Finding a community to worship and practice magic with
- Going for a walk during my lunch break
- Daily prayer
- Also my library card (cannot overstate the importance of your local library)

My biggest fear is that I’ll die seeing a worse world than the one I was born into

Hiero was one of the best things that came from our time being quarantined. I met some of the most amazing people and made friendships I’ll cherish forever 💜

It really hits the spot! Goes down easy and filled with nutrients to help the healing process. Plus I can use it to make soup, rice, and a bunch of other meals for the rest of the week

I was sick over the past five days which means it was time to make a big batch of broth.

I save all of my unused vegetable scraps and chicken bones in the freezer until it’s time. Then I put it all in a big pot of water with spices for magic and taste, and let it simmer for hours.

Works wonders

What’s the most mundane thing you’ve used magic for?

For me it may be a spell I use to save my parking space while I’m out. Sometimes mundane problems require magical solutions

Just in case people don't know the context, this is a policy called splitting the letters, developed by fundamentalist Christians to use feminist and queer language and culture to split the T off and then turn the others against each other.

Going through the Grove’s library has been difficult but rewarding. I’ve been tasked with removing books since we currently lack space for all of them. I’m amazed at how many books on paganism have outdated or inaccurate info. Pagan scholarship has really come a long way in recent years.

I made an altar after our sweet boy Rolo passed away. It helps to have a space to talk to him and leave him little treats as offerings. Nothing takes away the pain of grief, but having a space to channel it helps.
