This isn’t innovation… it’s risk. Atlas is basically a Chromium shell with AI bolted on, giving it deep access to your browsing and behaviour. The fact it can remember your activity, act on your behalf and integrate inside the browser raises serious security and privacy questions.

There’s absolutely no reason a bed needs to be connected to the cloud, and the same goes for many other appliances. I’ve seen dishwashers that require an app just to function. This cloud nonsense is getting completely out of hand.

If you rely entirely on the cloud for your operations, you don’t get to act surprised when an outage takes you down. Critical infrastructure should never depend on a single external provider. Either design for resilience with proper redundancy or invest in on-premise systems as a fallback.
